At the start of my time with GTB, I was still navigating life in the USA, and my experience working on the Ford brand became pivotal in bridging that cultural gap. My favorite stage in any role is the initial discovery—or what I like to call the ‘falling in love’ phase. At Ford, this was when I truly grasped how deeply the company is woven into the fabric of American families.
Through extensive market research and numerous one-on-one interactions with Gen X’ers, I discovered that while Ford might be just another car brand in India, in America, it’s much more. Beneath its ‘Built Tough’ exterior lies a heartwarming legacy. Ford is where countless grandfathers worked—a brand that sustained America’s middle class, brought pride to millions, and continues to evoke a genuine, heartstring-tugging nostalgia to this day.
By the end of my time here, I had a vast collection of both digital & print assets that I still feel proud to include in my design portfolio!
